About Us

DCH Credit Union began in 1955 in order to serve the employees and families of Druid City Hospital. But over the years, grew to include not only hospital employees and their families but everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Tuscaloosa, Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens and Sumter counties. In 2020, DCH Credit Union changed the name to Red Oak Credit Union to better reflect the growing membership and additional financial products and services offered.

Locations:

Red Oak Credit Union is owned by the members and managed and operated by a professional full-time staff and a 7-member board of directors. The board of directors are elected by the members and themselves are members.

All deposits are insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the U.S. government.
